Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV-1) Commercial Pilot Training

Purpose of the Training

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are widely used in many sectors such as aerial imaging, mapping, mining, engineering, photography, agricultural spraying and seeding, healthcare, and logistics. UAV training is a training program that teaches the control, management, and maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicles. The program includes both theoretical and practical components and is designed to equip participants with skills such as observation, safety control, and data collection.

Training Content

• 2- Air Law and Responsibilities
• 3- Aircraft Flight Dynamics and Flight Principles
• 4- Meteorology
• 5- ATC Procedures and Aviation Phraseology
• 6- Navigation and Operations
• 7- Controllable Systems
• 8- Propulsion Systems
• 9- Avionics Systems
• 10- Maintenance and Repair

Target Audience

Anyone interested in this field may apply. However, the minimum age limit is 12 for UAV-0 and 15 for UAV-1. Trainees under the age of 18 are required to submit a notarized undertaking from their parent/guardian.

Documents Required from Participants

After registration to the training, the following documents are required to complete the registration process:

• 1 biometric photo in jpg format
• Copy of Population Registration (to be downloaded from the e-Government system)
• Residence Certificate (to be downloaded from the e-Government system)
• Criminal Record Certificate (to be downloaded from the e-Government system)
• Educational Status Document (to be downloaded from the e-Government system)

The relevant documents must be sent to dpusem@dpu.edu.tr before the application deadline.

Certificate Information

Participants who meet the attendance requirements and successfully pass the exam will be awarded a "Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Commercial Pilot Certificate" and a "Radio and Communication Training Certificate" approved by Kütahya Dumlupınar University.
